Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AutoDispatch ("we", "us", "our") handles
information when you use the AutoDispatch website, the
AutoDispatch mobile app for drivers, and the
AutoDispatch Connection browser extension. We aim to
collect only what is needed to provide the service, and to keep your
data secure.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an AutoDispatch
account, we collect information you provide such as your name, company
name, email address, phone number, and (where applicable) DOT and MC
numbers. This is used to operate your account and the dispatch features
of the platform.
Load and dispatch data. We store the load,
shipment, and vehicle information you enter or import so you can manage
and track your shipments.
Bank account information. If you add a payout
account, we store only a nickname, account type, and the last four
digits of the account number. We do not store full bank account
numbers or routing numbers.
2. The AutoDispatch mobile app for drivers
The AutoDispatch mobile app lets drivers employed by or contracted
with a carrier sign in to view assigned loads, perform pickup and
delivery inspections, and report their location while working. Its
data handling is specific:
- Account sign-in. Drivers sign in with an email
address and password (or with Sign in with Apple, where available).
Authentication is handled by Supabase, our infrastructure provider.
- Profile photo (optional). Drivers can choose to
upload a profile photo from their device's camera or photo library.
The profile photo is visible to the driver's carrier and dispatchers.
- Camera access for inspections. During a pickup or
delivery inspection, the app uses the device's camera to capture
photos of the vehicle being transported. These photos are uploaded
to AutoDispatch and are visible to the driver, the driver's
carrier, and the broker who posted the corresponding load. Photos
are stored in our private cloud storage and are not made public.
- Signatures. The app captures electronic
signatures from the driver and (where applicable) the customer at
pickup and delivery. These signatures are stored as part of the
inspection record and are visible to the driver, the driver's
carrier, and the broker who posted the load.
- Inspection notes and damage tags. Drivers may
record written notes and select pre-defined damage tags during an
inspection. This information is stored as part of the inspection
record.
- Location data ("While Using"). While the driver
is signed in to the app and the app is in use, the app collects the
device's geographic location (latitude, longitude, accuracy, and,
where available, speed and heading) and shares it with the driver's
carrier and dispatchers so that loads can be coordinated in real
time. Location is collected approximately once every 30 seconds.
Location is not collected while the app is closed
or running in the background. Drivers can disable location at any
time in the device's system settings; the rest of the app will
continue to function, but the live map will not show the driver's
current location.
- What the app does not do. The app does not use
the microphone, does not access contacts, does not access health
data, does not display advertising, does not contain analytics
tracking SDKs for advertising purposes, and does not sell or share
personal information for advertising.
3. The AutoDispatch Connection browser extension
The AutoDispatch Connection extension lets you import a load you have
accepted on Central Dispatch into your own AutoDispatch account. Its
data handling is limited and specific:
- API key. The extension stores an AutoDispatch API
key that you generate in your AutoDispatch account settings and paste
into the extension. It is stored locally in your browser's extension
storage and is used only to authenticate import requests to your own
account.
- Load data you choose to import. When you click
the "Import to AutoDispatch" button on a load you have accepted, the
extension reads that single load's details (such as origin,
destination, vehicle information, and pricing) from the page you are
viewing and sends them to AutoDispatch to create the load in your
account.
- What it does not do. The extension does not run
in the background collecting data, does not track your browsing
history, does not read pages other than where you actively use it,
and does not bulk-collect data. It acts only when you click the
import button, and only on the single load you choose.
The extension only processes a load after you explicitly click to
import it. You remain in control of what is sent and when.
4. How we use information
- To create and operate your AutoDispatch account.
- To provide dispatch, load management, and tracking features.
- To process loads you import, including via the extension.
- To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only
as needed to operate the service — for example, with infrastructure
providers that host our database and application — or where required
by law. Load information you choose to share with another company on
the platform (such as assigning a load) is shared as directed by you.
6. Data storage and security
Your data is stored using industry-standard hosted infrastructure
with access controls and encryption in transit. While no system can be
guaranteed completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect
your information.
7. Your choices
- You can revoke your extension API key at any time from
AutoDispatch Settings, which immediately stops the extension from
being able to import loads.
- You can remove the extension from your browser at any time, which
deletes its locally stored API key.
- You can request access to or deletion of your account
information by contacting us.
8. Children's privacy
AutoDispatch is a business tool intended for use by adults in the
auto-transport industry and is not directed to children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material
changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
